Please read the instructions below before filling the online application.
Instructions to fill in the online visa application form:
- The Indian Government online visa application form is common to many Indian Embassies across the world. In order for your form to be valid in Austria and at the Embassy of India, Vienna, you must select “Austria – Vienna” in the drop down menu on the first page of the online form (opposite the title Indian Mission).
- You must answer all questions. Your answers should be in English.
- After having filled your form online, you should print out PDF format, paste your photo, conforming to the Indian Government specifications. Finally you should sign both pages of your form. Please note that the form contains three pages. On the last page, verify, edit, if required and then click on, save and exit. The PDF Frmat carries a Registration No. beginning with AUTV.
- You should not use any special characters or punctuation in any questions on the form: these could lead to errors during the processing of your application.
- If you are not able to answer any question or it does not apply to you, please write a simple answer (for example: yes, no, NA)
- Please check the details in your passport before you fill the form.
- Enter the right duration (Period of Visa) for which the visa should be valid. Please note that visa is valid from date of issue.
- If you want us to fill your form for you, please transfer or take additional 20€ with you. Provide us your postal address, your telephone number, your parents' names, places of birth, nationality, purpose of your visit, places to be visited in India, date of departure, period of time for which the visa should be valid and your contact person in Austria.
- People of Indian origin and their family members should apply for entry visa.
